The Individual Accountability Rules set out the regulators’ expectations of the conduct required of everyone working in financial services.
The FSCB has produced several pieces of good practice guidance to help firms achieve high quality ongoing implementation of these rules. We built on this further with our Professionalism Principles, which we developed within put from firms, regulators, professional bodies, trades associations, trades unions, advocacy groups and academics. Further, our Consumer Framework, which distils input from a broad range of consumer bodies and direct-to-consumer research, highlights the behaviour that consumers have a right to expect: from firms, and from their staff.
We are continuing to focus on how firms can support high standards of behaviour, accountability and trustworthiness, through our Survey, Insights work, and related policy projects.
