The Banking Standards Board (BSB) has today announced the appointment of Sir Alan Wilson to its Board of Directors. Sir Alan is the Chief Executive Officer of The Alan Turing Institute and Professor of the Urban and Regional Systems in the Centre of Advanced Spatial Analysis at University College London. He is also Chair of the Home Office Science Advisory Council.
BSB Chairman, Dame Colette Bowe said:

His experience of working at the forefront of data science means that he will bring new and different perspectives to understanding the challenges facing the banking sector and to the work of the BSB. We look forward to working with Alan as the BSB’s role continues to develop.’
Sir Alan, commenting on this new appointment, said:
