From 2015 to 2022 the FSCB published an annual picture of organisational culture within BSB (and subsequently FSCB) member firms, based on employee perceptions. The first such Annual Review drew on qualitative work with our founder and initial member firms; subsequent reviews reported on the results of our annual Employee Survey, based on our Assessment Framework and which we ran for the first time in 2016. The reviews also draw on a range of related work including behavioural science research, working groups, and material derived from focus groups and interviews.
Annual Reviews were published as a single, standalone document up to 2019. Given the increasing amount of data and analysis available, we took the decision in later years to publish material and analysis as and when it became available and in a digital format. The survey results for 2020-2022 are therefore available on this site but not in the same pdf format.
The analysis contained in these reports and on the website, paints a picture of organisational culture across firms and with respect to different demographic groups. It does not include firm-specific data. The FSCB produced a report for each individual participating firm that was then shared and discussed with that firm’s board. Those individual firm reports were not however published by the FSCB or shared beyond the firm itself.
The aggregated survey data that underpins our published findings has been deposited with the UK Data Service and can be accessed there.
