This is an opportunity for board members and senior executives from across financial services to hear Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies and FSCB Board member Paul Johnson’s perspective on the theme of the cost of living and inflation – the implications and upcoming challenges for individuals, businesses, the economy, and society.

Paul is well known for bringing complex economic concepts to a broad audience. He is a frequent contributor to written and broadcast media. He has been Director of the IFS since January 2011 and an FSCB Board member since our inception in 2015. He is also currently a visiting professor in the Department of Economics at University College London. In 2018 Paul was awarded a CBE in the Queen’s birthday honours list for services to the social sciences and economics.
